Scammers post very attractive ads and ask you to pay to obtain contact details, and/or to call back on a premium-rate number (usually starting with 08) and/or to pay in advance (before any real contact).
Never pay to obtain a contact address, neither by SMS nor by premium-rate number, it is most likely a scam. Our service is free.
If the number starts with 08, call costs must be displayed before calling.
→ PCS TRANSCASH MONEY ORDER etc… Never send money before a meeting. Hiding a number on a ticket is not enough, they can be recovered. "Scammers" post ads and give a fictitious address first, then once at the door demand prepayment, but obviously nobody is waiting afterwards.
→ Cheque scams e.g.: a cheque whose amount is higher than expected and fast shipping requested to a country different from yours (you pay the difference + ship the item and the cheque eventually bounces ten days after deposit because banks don't verify it in advance…): REFUSE
→ Western Union payment requests usually to other countries: you have no recourse in case of non-delivery because it is simply a cash money transfer: REFUSE and prefer another payment method such as PayPal…
→ The seller asks you to make a deposit for a car… (around 30% of the purchase price) and never delivers! : REFUSE
We filter as many ads as possible but unfortunately some may remain.
